December 2009
I've decided that I am officially the world's worst blogger. I am sooo not good with this stuff. I'll fill you all in with what has been going on the last few months.
Things out in England are starting to get better. We've all adjusted and have established a routine that seems to work for us.
The day usually begins with walking Kayden to school. Then Baylee, Landon and I head over to the gym. I've decided to train for a 1/2 marathon and see how I do. Then hopefully I'll do a full one by the end of the summer. I love running! It keeps me sane! It's definetly a healthy outlet to get all my stress and anxiety out for the day. Unfortunately, I injured myself running a 5K so I've had to stop running altogether until my body has healed. :( Hopefully I will be better within the next couple months so I can start running again.
Kayden is in second grade, and just had his 8th b-day. He's such a good kid and is very helpful. I still can't believe he's 8, I really don't know where the time has gone!
Landon is still waiting to start school, and play sports. Just a few more months and he'll be playing football and baseball just like his big brother. Landon has figured out how much fun video games are! And now is in the habit of playing halo with his dad and brother.
Baylee... what can I say about her. Lets just say she is the reason I discovered my love of running. I love her, and can't wait until she has children of her own to pass on her same personality.
Kim is getting ready to deploy within the next couple of weeks. I'm not allowed to say when, but I will say I wish I had family coming for Christmas this year. He'll be gone until possibly May. I will miss him terribly! I am so proud of him and what he'll be doing for our country "downrange". (Afganistan) I couldn't have asked for a better husband and father to our beautiful children. Love you babe!
Anyway, thats about it. I will really try to keep you all updated better. We miss you all and wish you a Merry Christmas!

Update
Let's see where to begin....
We celebrated Baylee's first birthday last Saturday. I can't believe my baby is 1! They grow up so fast! We had a BBQ at our house and invited a few new friends over to help celebrate it. She LOVED her cake, but not as much as the ice cream. And with the help of her brothers she had no problems opening up all her presents. She had so much fun making a mess of the wrapping paper and throwing it across the room. Typical Baylee!
Kayden has been playing coach pitch baseball. He loves it and is an awesome player. Flag football sign-ups are coming up and Kayden is so excited! What can I say? Football is his sport. He got out of school last Friday which he is so happy about. He's worked hard this year and is an outstanding student!
Landon is really happy his brother is out of school. He loves playing with Kayden and I think he's pretty happy to have a buddy during the day. We're trying to get him into sports but out here he has to be 5 to play anything. We've thought about passing him off as a 5 year old. Apparently they have this thing called honesty, and when you're a parent you have to teach your kids all about it. So I don't think it'll fly. Unfortunately, all they have for him right now is ballet or gymnastics..... um no thanks!
Kim has been working a lot lately. This is the first weekend in a long time that he's had off. It's been a struggle for me to get adjusted to his work schedule. It's been very lonely. I was very spoiled at Luke because he was off at 3 and never had to work weekends. But I'll adjust, I always do. I guess that's part of being a military wife.

England
We've finally all made it to England and are getting our schedule back to normal.
The flight over here was great. It took a long time but that was the only down fall. The kids were amazing and behaved so well. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised they are pretty good kids.
Kayden has already made quite a few friends. He had his first sleepover in our new house. And just about everyday since we've been here he's been out playing football with all the boys in the neighborhood. Kayden started school yesterday and seems to be enjoying it. We live really close to the school so we're able to walk in the mornings.
Landon is enjoying himself too. He tags along with Kayden and seems to keep up with him just fine. He's missing Kayden a lot this week.
Baylee is doing great. She's still getting into everything but instead of my dads books she gets into the dog bowls. Oh well, what can I do? A little bit of dog food won't hury her right?
As for Kim and I we're just happy to be together again. The weeks that we were apart seemed like two Korea trips put together. It's been nice having everyone, including the dogs, together again.
I haven't really had the time to get outside the base yet. But so far I really like it here. The only down fall is the weather. But I've been told that the sun does come out in the summer time. So I'm hoping this year it will be unusually warm and sunny! :)
I miss you and love you all. I wish you all could move here with us. I feel like I'm already missing out on so much with Kiley having a baby and Lindsey and Kelsee getting married. But I've been told 4 years goes by really fast and we'll be home before we know it!
I'll put up pictures of the house and the kids this weekend.
Love you!
